Your gift will help elder Veterans like George stay vital through creative arts

During his service with the Royal Canadian Air Force, George Jewell worked as an instrument technician on fighter jets. Today, this Veteran is in long-term care at Ste. Anne’s Hospital in Québec and takes on projects in the hospital’s woodshop program, which is supported by funding from True Patriot Love through the Québec Veterans Foundation. Creative arts projects like woodworking can support well-being and vital social connections that can be lost with age and illness.

Your donation today will help military kids across Canada attend summer camp

In 2026, thanks to our donors, more than 1,300 children from military families across Canada were able to take part in summer programs. Summer camps can be a vital respite for the whole family. That’s why the Forces’ Personnel Support Programs offer summer camps at bases across Canada, tailored to the needs of military families. At CFB Esquimalt, True Patriot Love’s funding helped provide increased staff support for children with diverse needs, including neurodivergent children and kids going through stress and behavioural challenges during parental deployments and disrupted summer routines.
